5 Days Safari – Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its majestic baobab trees and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Northern Tanzania.
Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. After an exciting day in the wilderness, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the journey, enjoy spectacular views of the highlands before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti.
Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and vast herds of grazing wildlife.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Serengeti National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent opportunities to witness predator-prey interactions and observe wildlife in their natural habitat.
Depending on the season, you may encounter the Great Migration, featuring thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti, allowing more time to explore different areas of the park and maximize your wildlife-viewing opportunities. Your experienced guide will track animal movements and lead you to the best locations for sightings and photography.
Expect encounters with big cats, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, and an abundance of birdlife throughout the day.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife and offers one of the best chances to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, continue your wildlife viewing before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
